[Test your Internet speed with cloud native monitor prometheus
Prometheus is a powerful tool that has been widely adopted in cloud industry to monitor and alert distributed system performance in past decade. This video simply demonstrates how you can set up prometheus and one of its components (node-exporter) on your local macbook laptop so it can start visualize lots of interesting machine/internet measurments/metrics including CPU usages and internet downloading speeds. The actual deployment of Prometheus components are going to be more rubust and complicated for real cloud clusters but how the system essentially works is the same.
