[How To Speed Up Your Internet Insanely On A Mac!

Hey Guys! This is FearxxxMExxx and today, I’ll be teaching you how to speed up your internet on the mac using two cool tricks. I’ll show you the first way, which involves changing the channel frequency of your router’s signal. I know it sounds complicated, but it really isn’t.
First, head to Spotlight, which is on the top right corner. Search for “Wireless Diagnostics”. Once you found it, open it up. Your computer may ask you for your password. Simply type it in. Now, don’t worry about this new popup. Ignore it and head to the “Window” option up here. Find “Utilities”. Once you’re here, find “Wifi-Scan”. Locate the Scan Now button, click it, and wait a few seconds. Soon, a list of networks should appear. Swipe to the right until you reach the “Channel” area. First, look at your channel frequency and then compare it to others. If yours is different, that’s great! Keep it like that. If many users are using your channel frequency, change it.
To do this, type in your IP-adress in an internet search bar. They might ask you for a password. Usually, the password and username is Admin. If it isn’t, search online specifically for your router. The information should there. For my router, I’ll need to head to Wireless. From there, I could see the Wireless Channel option. You could easily scan through them and choose one.
The final way to speed up your internet is to use ethernet. This works like twice as fast, because internet packets travel straight from your router and right into your computer. There’s hardly and noise or frequency disturbance at all!
