[Fix for the Windows Cannot Connect to the Printer Error 0x0000011b
If you are trying to connect to a shared or network printer in Windows 11 or even 10, you might get an error that says cannot connect to the printer and also say the operation failed with error 0x0000011b. There are several steps you can try to get around this and we will show you several and then a way that should work no matter how your computer is configured.

Registry fix steps
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlPrint
Right-click on the Print key and select New → DWORD-32-bit Value
Name the new key RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled
Set its value to 0
Reboot
Uninstall any updates that match these KB numbers
