This worked like a charm for me to get my printer back printing. I was one step away from taking it apart and somehow cleaning the ink receptacle by hand. I probably would have ruined it by doing so and been forced to toss the whole thing. Really glad this worked. The very first thing I tried was to make sure there was enough in the receptacles. It was obvious there was as it hasn’t printed since I filled them myself. Just to go through the steps I did a visual check anyway and I could see through the front of the receptacle that there was enough ink (it was almost full). Then I pulled out the Epson L3110 user’s guide/owner’s manual and followed the recommended steps there which included holding the button with the triangular shaped design in it down for 5 seconds until the power button blinked. This had it run through a cycle of print head cleaning. Once into the printer preferences queue and maintenance (as mentioned above) I tried the nozzle cleaning function, then the head cleaning function and both of these didn’t work. I’d never heard of doing a power cleaning before so I was losing hope and had visions of tossing this one into the recycle and having to purchase a new one. Luckily I tried the “Power Cleaning” cycle and it worked!!. It is hard to say if the fact that it worked was a combination of all of the cycles that I ran the printer through or if I could have just gone to the power cleaning cycle. Regardless, it doesn’t matter because it works now. What I suspect was the problem was that the ink dried and hardened in the oriface in which it comes out thereby not letting any of the liquid ink pass by. Just a guess. It also could have been the fact that the printer was brand new and there was something from the manufacturing process that was blocking it.

I’ll get right to the fix here and I’ll do some explaining later but if your Epson printer is not printing its the paper cycling through but you’re not getting the ink onto the paper here’s a here’s the fix and I like I said I’ll go into detail of some other things I tried first really right to get right to it click on windows click on settings go to devices now go to printers and scanners and now your printers listed here the Epsons listed open queue all right here’s where you want to be now go to the printer and then go to printing preferences and now this is gonna list some checks so you’re gonna go to maintenance right there so right here go to power cleaning and click on that and perform the power cleaning on this thing now I’ll explain so this is this is what worked for me it all this other stuff but this is what worked for me and to get it printing I’m actually gonna do it because it makes it makes you wait 12 hours before in between cycles of doing this thing plus it’s already working so I do it but right there you just click Next don’t do it power cleaning it takes like five minutes so now what I did first when it wasn’t working as I came to the printer and actually the directions here tell you do run printhead cleaning until all lines are pretty completely hold down for five seconds hold that button right there down for five seconds so you could if you wanted to before you do your power head cleaning do this it didn’t work for me so I tried that first hold that down for five seconds and it went through a cycle

and that it still still didn’t work so this was a printhead cleaning so tried that first didn’t work then I came over here and tried to do a did a nozzle check there that didn’t work went through the head cleaning that still didn’t work and then finally the power cleaning and that’s what that’s what finally did it so it was it possible was a combination of everything it could have been but didn’t work twice did that so give that a shot and hopefully that’ll work for you

you
