In this repair video we will be working Asus q302 laptop that powers on using a charged battery but does not power on using the charger. The laptop battery will not charge. Charger is not seen by the laptop, Battery does not get charged and laptop does not power on when battery is disconnected. We will look into the mosfets and measure voltage at source drain and gate. Voltage is needed at the gate in order for drain to pass voltage on to source. Upon inspection we noticed 10v on drain which means partial short or short circuit. Let go over how to troubleshoot and fix this problem.
