Here’s the first of THREE upcoming builds in the HYTE Y40, and I have to say my initial impressions are very good indeed! The Y40 takes on a lot of the features we loved about the Y60 such as unrestricted airflow, an included vertical mount with PCIE 4.0 and bold styling with panoramic views of the hardware inside. The building process was very intuitive. HYTE have made this straight forward and pleasurable from start to finish. Cable management was plentiful also!

I’m a huge fan of zero RGB builds as you’ve probably gathered, for the first of three upcoming Y40 builds I wanted to give this the full Noctua treatment (still waiting on Noctua 4080, although this should be the same size for reference). I adore the combination of the brown and beige, along with the black Chromax color pallet for this build. It works really nice and the Y40 does a great job of presenting and displaying this!

Following the great success of the Y60, HYTE have introduced a stellar chassis with the Y40 to the market. It’s brings a relatively compact ATX form factor oozing with style, capable of housing anything from a 3050 to a 4090 graphics card. Whether you choose a black, red or white chassis you’ll not be disappointed!

What’s your thoughts on the blackout with a hint of brown Noctua fan scheme inside the HYTE Y40? Could you sacrifice RGB and see this in your setup? Drop a comment!

Big thanks to HYTE, ASUS & Team Group for supporting this build.
