NameBench Windows + Mac:
HOW TO FIX NameBench of Mac OSX Mountain lion
1) Download mac dmg and extract the “.app” to your desktop
2) Eject the DMG (drag to recycle bin)
3) Right click on namebench.app and click “Show Package Contents”
4) Go to “Contents/Resources/libnamebench”
5) Right click on “health_checks.py” and “open with TextEdit”
6) Find “hostname = ‘namebench%s.%s’ % (random.randint(1, 2**32), domain)” and change it to “hostname = ‘namebench%s.%s’ % (random.randint(1, 2**16), domain)”
7) SAVE AND YOUR DONE

1) Will it harm my computer? No it’s easy to switch back.
2) Will this effect video speed? Yes it does. Don’t ask me how but it does.
3) Will it harm my router? No, unless you change the DNS on your router.
4) Is it a virus? NO why would I give you a virus. All your doing is changing your DNS.
5) Can’t watch the video! Just google “online YouTube video downloader” and download the video and watch it.
